Occupational Therapy

Gemma Kinnealy

Occupational Therapist & QLD Allied Health Manager

Primary Location

Gold Coast and Greater Brisbane

Gemma Kinnealy is an Occupational Therapist and the Queensland Allied Health Manager at InOne Healthcare, working across the Gold Coast and Greater Brisbane. Gemma has the pleasure of working with young adults through to older adults, and especially enjoys helping those with complex neurological conditions like brain injuries, strokes, or Parkinson's, as well as supporting older adults in staying safe and comfortable in their own homes. She loves getting to know her clients and hearing their stories. Gemma believes that building rapport and creating a comfortable, supportive environment is the foundation for meaningful occupational therapy outcomes. Gemma has always been passionate about connecting with people and supporting them to achieve what matters most to them. Inspired by her close relationship with her grandparents and her experiences with friends living with various disabilities, she was drawn to Occupational Therapy as a profession that combines compassion, genuine relationships, and a truly personalised approach. While she initially found her place in community aged care and never expected to work in the neurological space, it quickly became a true passion of hers. Gemma finds it incredibly rewarding to help individuals maximise their independence, overcome challenges, and live fulfilling lives. She approaches every client as she would a member of her own family — providing the same care, respect, and support that she would want for the people closest to her.
