Occupational Therapy

Cindy Kong

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Primary Location

Melbourne — North Eastern Suburbs

Cindy Kong is an Occupational Therapist at InOne Healthcare who specialises in working with children in the paediatric space. She helps children and families develop the skills they need for daily life — including cognitive, physical, sensory and motor-based skills. Cindy has particular experience in early intervention, sensory integration therapy, the DIR/Floortime approach, interoception practice, mental health, and motor-based assessments. In her practice, she focuses on family-centred practice, play-based therapy, and neuro-affirming approaches. What drew Cindy to this work is the opportunity to work alongside children, families and other professionals to help them grow, thrive and build confidence — so that children can participate, engage, and eventually develop self-management skills and their own independence. She finds it especially rewarding to work together with people to support them in participating in meaningful activities.
