Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology

Ameerun Nisha

Senior Physiotherapist & Exercise Physiologist

Primary Location

Brisbane North, QLD

I am a qualified physiotherapist and exercise physiologist who works mainly with elderly individuals helping them regain strength, mobility and confidence in their daily activities through personalised exercise programs. My focus is on functional rehabilitation, building the physical capacity patients need for their everyday movements that matter most, like getting up safely, walking steadily and staying active. I am known for promoting independence, taking a patient centred approach that emphasizes autonomy and long-term self-sufficiency rather than just symptom relief.

I had a lifelong interest in movement and how the body works from my own background in sports when I was younger, this drew me to exercise physiology and then eventually to becoming a physiotherapist. What I find most rewarding is watching someone go from struggling with everyday movements to confidently managing life at home again.
