In-Clinic Paediatric Occupational Therapy at Roxburgh Park
Children develop skills through play, repetition and the right level of challenge. Our paediatric Occupational Therapists use the clinic environment to provide exactly that — a space set up for movement, sensory input, fine motor work and structured play, with fewer distractions than a home or classroom.
We work with families to understand what is actually difficult at home, at kinder and at school, and then build sessions around the skills that will make the biggest practical difference.

What paediatric occupational therapy works on
Working with families, kinders and schools
Occupational therapy that stays inside the clinic does not change much. We invest in the handover — parent coaching at the end of sessions, practical home programs that fit into a real family's week, written strategies for educators, and, where funded, school and kinder visits, team meetings and reports.
We also complete functional assessments and progress reports to support NDIS plan reviews for children and young people.
Adults & Neuro
Neurological Occupational Therapy for Adults
Alongside the children's clinic, our Occupational Therapists provide mobile neurological occupational therapy for adults and older Australians across Melbourne's north.
Neurological conditions affect movement, cognition, communication, sensation, fatigue and behaviour — often all at once. Neuro occupational therapy addresses the practical consequences of those changes and builds the skills, strategies and supports a person needs to live as independently and safely as possible.

Funding Options
NDIS
We support plan-managed and self-managed participants of all ages. Occupational therapy is typically funded under Capacity Building, Improved Daily Living, with assistive technology and home modification assessments drawing on the relevant Capital and Capacity Building categories. We work directly with support coordinators, plan managers and Local Area Coordinators.
Aged Care — Support at Home
For older adults, occupational therapy sits within the clinical care category of Support at Home, which replaced Home Care Packages from 1 November 2025. Clinical care is fully government funded with no means-tested contribution. We also complete the assessments and prescriptions required for the Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme, which provides funding of up to $500, $2,000 or $15,000 across three tiers within a 12-month access period, separate from and upfront of the ongoing Support at Home budget.
Private
Private appointments are available for families and adults who would prefer not to wait on funding approval.
