inOne Healthcare
Occupational therapy is about function. Not a diagnosis on a page, but whether a person can shower safely, prepare a meal, get to an appointment, manage their medication, hold a conversation, return to work, or take part in the things that make life meaningful.
Our Brisbane Occupational Therapists work with adults living with complex, neurological and functional conditions. Because we deliver care in the home and community, we see how a person genuinely manages in their own kitchen, bathroom, hallway and neighborhood, giving our clinicians a more realistic understanding of how someone functions day to day, leading to more accurate assessments and more practical recommendations than a clinic-based assessment alone.

What We Do
Specialist OT for adults living with stroke, ABI, Parkinson's, MS, MND, spinal cord injury, dementia and other neurological conditions — delivered in your home and community.
Comprehensive FCAs that go beyond diagnosis to understand how a person's disability impacts everyday life, with evidence-based recommendations to maximise independence and NDIS funding.
Assessment, trial and prescription of assistive technology, plus minor and complex home modifications to support safe, independent living at home.
In-home assessment for older Australians to reduce falls risk, prescribe equipment and support safe, independent living in the environments that matter most.

I'm Gemma, an Occupational Therapist, and I have the pleasure of working with young adults through to older adults. I especially enjoy helping those with complex neurological conditions like brain injuries, strokes, or Parkinson's, as well as supporting older adults in staying safe and comfortable in their own homes. Building rapport and creating a comfortable, supportive environment is at the heart of my practice.

Hi, I'm Brydie, an Occupational Therapist. I love working with a range of people from young adults to older adults, and I enjoy working with people in their homes to understand their stories and build rapport in their own environment. I have experience working with people with neurological conditions including brain injury, stroke, Parkinson's and MS, and I also work with older adults to keep them safe and independent within their own homes.
Adults & Neuro
Neurological conditions affect movement, cognition, communication, sensation, fatigue and behaviour — often all at once. Neuro occupational therapy addresses the practical consequences of those changes and builds the skills, strategies and supports a person needs to live as independently and safely as possible.
Our Occupational Therapists have extensive experience supporting adults with cognitive, functional and neurological conditions, including those listed here.
NDIS Assessments
At inOne Healthcare, our experienced Community Occupational Therapists deliver comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) that go beyond diagnosis to understand how a person's disability impacts their everyday life. We take the time to assess an individual's strengths, challenges, goals, and support needs, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations that help participants maximise their independence and get the most out of their NDIS funding.
We assess how a person's condition affects daily activities such as personal care, mobility, household tasks, communication, community access, social participation, decision-making, memory, and safety. By understanding how a person functions in their real-world environments, we can identify the right supports to enhance participation, wellbeing, and quality of life.
A well-prepared FCA provides evidence-based recommendations aligned to a participant's goals. Recommendations may include:
By clearly linking functional limitations to recommended supports, an FCA helps the NDIS understand the reasonable and necessary funding required to maximise independence, improve quality of life, and support meaningful participation.
To refer a participant for an FCA, contact our team. We'll confirm the assessment scope, expected time and cost, and arrange a home and community-based assessment at a time that suits.

Assessment takes place at home and in the community, at a time that suits. Family, carers and support workers are welcome to be involved.
