Mobile physiotherapy across Brisbane

inOne Healthcare

Community Physiotherapy Across Brisbane

inOne Healthcare's physiotherapists come to you at home, in your community, or in your supported accommodation. Rehabilitation happens in the environment where you actually need to move, which is the difference between walking well in a gym and walking safely down your own hallway. We support NDIS participants, older Australians receiving aged care funding, and their families and care teams throughout greater Brisbane.

Our Brisbane physiotherapists assess and treat in the places where those problems occur. We see the real stairs, the real bathroom, the real footpath, and we build programs around them. Progress is measured in things that matter: standing up unaided, getting to the letterbox, sleeping through without a fall, going back to a walk with the dog. Every referral is matched to a physiotherapist with relevant clinical experience, and we work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support coordinators, GPs, specialists, support workers and other allied health clinicians.

Neurological conditions change how the brain and body communicate. The result is weakness, altered tone, poor balance, reduced coordination, fatigue and a loss of confidence in movement — and each of those responds to targeted, repetitive, well-designed physiotherapy.

Our physiotherapists have extensive experience supporting adults with neurological and complex conditions, including those listed here.

Falls & Mobility

Falls Prevention and Mobility

Around one in three older Australians falls each year, and a fall is very often the event that ends independent living. Falls are also highly modifiable.

Our falls prevention programs combine assessment with progressive, evidence-based intervention — strength and balance training at the right dose, gait retraining, footwear and mobility aid review, environmental risk identification in partnership with our occupational therapists, and education for the person and their family. Where relevant, we screen for the other contributors that a physiotherapist is well placed to notice: postural blood pressure changes, vestibular symptoms, fear of falling and reduced walking speed.

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation After Hospital, Surgery or Illness

The weeks after discharge are when function is most recoverable and most easily lost. We provide in-home rehabilitation following stroke, orthopaedic surgery, joint replacement, fracture, prolonged illness, ICU admission or a general decline in condition.

Programs are short, goal-focused and measurable — regaining the ability to stand, to walk to the bathroom, to manage the front steps, to get back into the community. We welcome referrals from hospital discharge planners, rehabilitation teams and transition care services.
