In-Home NDIS Paediatric Occupational Therapy in Melbourne
Children learn skills where they use them. A child who can stack blocks neatly at a clinic table but cannot manage buttons at home before school has not yet solved the problem that matters to the family.
Our paediatric Occupational Therapists work with NDIS participants in their own home, and where funded at kindergarten, school and in the community. Working with families, kinders and schools
Therapy that stays inside the session does not change much. We invest in the handover — parent coaching at the end of each visit, home programs that fit into a real family's week, written strategies for educators, and, where funded, kinder and school visits, team meetings and reports.
We also complete paediatric functional assessments, assistive technology and home modification assessments for children, and progress reports to support NDIS plan reviews.
Families who would prefer a clinic setting can be seen in-clinic at our Roxburgh Park location instead.
Aged Care
Aged Care Occupational Therapy in Melbourne
Occupational therapy sits within the clinical care category of the Support at Home program, which replaced Home Care Packages from 1 November 2025. Clinical care is fully funded by the government regardless of income or assets — there is no means-tested contribution for occupational therapy.
For older Melburnians, our Occupational Therapists provide a full range of clinical and home safety services. We also work with residential aged care providers across Melbourne and accept private referrals.

Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) Scheme
AT-HM funding is separate from, and provided upfront of, the rest of a person's Support at Home budget. It exists specifically to pay for the equipment and modifications that keep people safely at home.
Funding is provided across three tiers within a 12-month access period:

up to $500
Medium tier
up to $2,000
High tier
up to $15,000
Complex equipment and any home modification generally require assessment and prescription by a health professional — typically an occupational therapist. Our Melbourne Occupational Therapists assess the person and the property, document the clinical justification, specify exactly what is required, prepare the supporting report, and review the outcome once the equipment arrives or the work is complete.
