EPC Funding Through Medicare
The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program through Medicare provides financial support for eligible individuals to access specific allied health services. Under the EPC program, you can receive a Medicare rebate for certain types of therapy services when referred by a GP.
How Does EPC Funding Work?
- Eligibility: EPC funding is available for individuals with chronic conditions or complex care needs. You must obtain a referral from your General Practitioner (GP) to access these services.
- Rebate Limit: Medicare covers a portion of the cost of up to five allied health services per calendar year under the EPC program.
- Service Coverage: EPC funding can be used for therapy services such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Pathology.
